Sunday Surgery is a writing, sight reading, and rehearsal room workshop for screen and theatre scripts that takes place on the last Sunday of every month.
Please note, Sunday Surgery does not run in June/July/August/December.
Sunday Surgery is an ideal opportunity for directors and actors to work with modern screen/playwrights in a rehearsal room setting, aimed at script development for the purpose of production.
We are always on the look out for new script submissions, new talent and new directors, so if you have thought about getting involved, this is the best time to do it! All you need to do is email sundaysurgery@gmail.com to RSVP.
The surgery will attach an extract from your new play to a director and a cast of actors. On the day of the workshop you will be able to rehearse, perform, and receive vital feedback. Prior to the workshop we encourage the directors and playwrights to connect and communicate with an eye on how to develop the play both before, during, and after the workshop.
We offer writers, directors, and actors’ participation in Sunday Surgery, develop sight reading techniques, expand your network of directors and writers and meet the agent behind MSFT Management.
DATE: The last Sunday of each month (except July, August, October, and December)
TIME: 2-7PM
COST: £5 for EXCLUSIVE MSFT MANAGEMENT CLIENTS, £10* for ACTORS & DIRECTORS, £12* for WRITERS (*please note that a £1.00 booking fee will apply for both the £10 and £12 tickets)
